Sucky blanket

OMG! My daughter has gone to bed without her sucky blanky!!!! Mark this day in history!!! Background....since Peyton was probably a year old, there is this certain Emily Coe (or is it Amy Coe)...ok, a blanket exclusive to Target, that she has taken an edge up and twisted it and shoved it into her mouth. A lot of the blanket gets shoved into the mouth. She soaks the thing with spit by the time she is done with it. They start to stink...and it's just gross. If you accidently sit on the blanket...you butt is soaked. In fact, Ashleigh came in the office at Andi's today and showed us her wet shorts. We asked what it was, and she said she sat on Peyton's blanket. LOL! It's just gross! I had to buy like 7 of these blankets because they get so nasty so quick. Constant rotation.

So, after the talking we did with her the past few days didn't work. Andi asked her to give them to Addyson because she needs those blankets. And if she did she would be a big girl princess and she would buy her a cinderlla dress all for herself! Peyton was gung-ho on that! She was all over giving them to Addy and getting that dress.

We got home...still gung-ho. She went to watch her Dora movie and came in the living room and said, "I'm cold". Which is code for--I want my blanket. Which she knows I don't like her to have that when she is not sleeping. I hate it when she walks around with it and lets it drag on the floor and all of that. She wanted that blanket. You could see it on her face. She was wavering on the promise to give up the blanky. She went and got it. I didn't say anything. She came in with it, then I said something. "Baby-girl...I thought you were going to be a big girl princess and give those to Addy?" She said, "no I don't want to." I tried to talk to her, but she moved on to a different subject.

I put her to bed walking past the blanky in the playroom. She layed down and sayed, "wait...I need my sucky blanky." I said, "no, you don't. Why don't we try it one night without your blanky" She said, "No ,and she wanted it." She got up and went in the playroom and got it. I told her to go say goodnight to her Daddy. She did. Steve said, "why don't we put your blanky on the washing machine and wash them so they are all clean for Addy." She ran and put it on the washing machine. Just like that. She told me when we got back to the bed, "make sure they are niiiceee and warrrmmm for Addy." I said, "I certainly will. I will get them all cleaned and dry and warm, then tomorrow we'll get a special bag, put them in and take them to Addy." She agreed.

I might be having a little trouble with this as she is. Makes me cry when I see her face wavering on the decision she agreed to. You could see it on her face. She is unsure and concerned that she needs that blanky. Oh dear. I know it makes her feel safe and content to have that blanket. It is sometimes the only way she will even sit still. I guess I don't want her to feel unsafe, and unsure. Andi keeps saying to stay strong. Very hard!!!! I just want her to have what she wants when she wants it and how she wants it. But then again, I know life isn't always that way. But it's just a blanky for goodness sake. Oy vey.

But she did it. We will see how the night goes. I checked on her on our video monitor, and she is doing ok so far. A little wiggly. Steve is checking on her now. Says she is spread eagle on her bed and singing. LOL

I love that girl!! Night.

LOVE IT!

Yes...an actual nice day! I didn't get much time with Peyton today which is the only reason this day wasn't just grand. But an overall good day. Did some work this morning, went to lunch with a good friend, picked up Peyton, she napped (for once.), worked a bit more then went off to see Brittany play with the City of Fort Worth Youth Orchestra at the Bass Hall. Really very good. I couldn't see her at all, but it all sounded great. I wouldnt have missed that. Steve stayed home with Peyton and they went on a "date" to Wendy's. Cheap date, eh. hehe But they enjoyed it. Good to get some one on one time. I get a lot more of that than Steve, so it was a good change.

Yesterday went to Sydney and my Dad's piano recital. It was also impressive. They both did well. My dad just took up lessons a couple of years ago and he is brave enough to get up there with 5-15 year olds. Takes gutts. Good job Pops.

I was touched by a recent comment on my blog by somebody who said they didn't know me. Thanks to the the person who sent the comment. I appreciate it. Read it if you can.

Got a message on our phone from a friend of ours. She is a lady Steve's dad used to date that Steve and I got close with. She is an older lady and haven't heard from her in a couple of years. We send Christmas cards every year, and had heard that she had fallen ill. I think with a heart attack or stroke. She sounded very old. Not well sounding. I am going to give her a call. She is/was one of the nicest ladies. We all bonded in the fact that we all lived through the craziness of Steve's father. That is a whole other story, one in which I will touch on soon. Sad story, upsetting and kind of unbelievable. Most sad thing is that he doesn't know his only grandchild, and really...if you ask me.....could care less about that fact. Yeah...anyway...a story for another day. But anyway....Peggy (his former girlfriend).....the nicest women. Iwill let you know how my phone call goes with her. I hope she is ok.

Today wasn't so nutty as it has been. Actually a little slow compared to recent days. A nice change of pace. Tomorrow I don't have much planned either. Gonna take my work over to Andi's in the afternoon and answer phones for her as well. She is having trouble on Wed. because she has to take Ash to speach theropy. So I am going to try to work on my work while helping her out. We'll see how it goes anyway.

Summer is just about here! HOT stuff! Not looking forward to that. But am looking forward to getting tan again.

Peyton cracks me up. she is at that stage where she just talks randomly. This morning she said....knock, knock. I said, who's there. She looked around the kitchen and said, "light. Because it's right there and it's in mommy and daddy and peyton's house, and it's pretty, and I can see Murray, and Chloe is getting licked by Murray, and I like my strawberries, and....." So funny. Out of the blue kind of stuff. LOVE IT! Makes me stop, notice, and listen and take it in. Just the innocence and randomness of thoughts. I often wondered what does she dream about. We all dream about work and life, and have trouble sleeping wondering if we paid the bill that was due, etc. She woke up the other day straight from her nap and said, "Mommy! Clifford the big red dog went down my slide but he was too big and got stuck. But the big red dog was daddy, and they were both playing on my playground." My question had been answered. She dreams about Clifford! That's what I mean by innocence. Our little world within our home, family and friends is all she knows. She hasn't been tainted or warped in any way. So weird. So cool. LOVE IT too! The greatest thing I thought was when she was born, but the second greatest thing is getting to watch her grow up! LOVE IT!

babies...babies

I had my picture taken with my team, and she had to have her picture taken too. Can't leave the princess out.

Ya know. I miss having a baby. We have been trying to have a baby for over 2 years. Peyton was 14 months old when we started trying. Thought...oh, yeah...it won't be an issue. I just had a baby so all will go fine. Well, not so much. Tried on our own for over a year. Then started going to the dr. Did Clomid. Fertility drug, yes. Minimal risk of multiples which is very important to me. I will not try anything with a big risk of more than one popping out. So did Clomid for 2 months...no avail. Couldn't do it the next month because of cysts that grew due to the meds. Went away the next month and did the Clomid again. This time with a shot that was to induce ovulation. Did exactly what we were told to do, and still didn't get prego. Steve had gotten checked during that time, and it ain't him. There is nothing wrong with me. Pretty much unexplained infertility. The next step is artificial insemination. No increased risk of multiples with this. However, this cost is upward of $1k. Don't have that kind of cash lying around, so we have taken a break from the dr. intervention. I hope every month some miracle will happen and it will work, and for free. ha We have already spent probably pretty close to $1k on dr. visits, sonograms, drugs, testing...etc. Goodness!

Ya know. I am turning 36 in a few days. I wonder to myself how in the world I would handle another child. Then I think of the pure and complete joy Peyton was to me when she was born and even to this day, and I want to add to that. Mostly, I feel for Peyton. I don't want Peyton to be an only child. It makes me so sad when I look out the window while cooking dinner and she is out on her swing just sitting there looking into space. No playmate..nobody to bug or swing or boss around. I want another baby mostly for her. Really, honestly, with as busy as life has gotten, and watching how Andi has to juggle the work, Ash and Addyson. It's tough. Am I willing to go through all that again. Well...really...if I had the choice, I would. I just worry about the amount of time in a day, and how the heck I would juggle it all. But I figure, we all manage somehow. Then also...36! Am I too old at this point? A constant juggle in my head. Do I or don't I? I think God ultimately will have that decision. Steve and I will have to come up with a "deadline" of sorts. If I am not prego by a certain year, then he has to go get snipped. I do not want an accidental pregnancy at age 50. ha

Frustration at its finest. I feel for those women that arent able to have even one. I at least have Peyton. Just for her, I pray for a sister/brother for her. I will figure out the rest.

Have a good Tues.

Lazy as planned

Yup...as I posted earlier I planned on a lazy Sunday. And I accomplished that task. I did do a few productive things. Took a nap, hung out with Peyton, ate dinner, cut Steve's hair and yes, I did do some work too. I did do all my letters to local family and friends letting you all know I joined the Crimmins Team. So you all should be getting that shortly. ;)

Since I napped I am not tired now that it's time to go to bed. But I guess I will do a little more work. I have plenty to do, that's for sure.

Thank you, Autie Sharon for the comments on the blog. And you too, Bridget!!! My plan for this blog is to publish it into a book. There is a place called blurb.com that you can convert your blog into a book and keep it as a treasure. I want to do that. I think it would be cool for Peyton to have for years to come. To know what she was up to along with her goofy parents and family as it was happening. Thanks to Andi for that idea. So post your comments people and you can be included in the book too. That would be cool I think.

I have thought a lot about my friend who has since moved away lately. I won't mention names but her initials are ET. We have been friends for around 25 years. She moved away when we were very young, but through all that time we stayed friends. Talked on the phone, made time to go see each other. She even moved her family here several years ago. But I guess they missed their families too much and moved back. But since she has moved back she hasn't been much of a friend. I could probably count on 1 hand how many times she has called me in the 2 or so years since she has moved. I was very devestated when she moved away again. I have in the past called, emailed, texted, and now blogged about. It is hard to be friends with someone who doesn't seem to wish to do the same. I don't get phone calls back, texts or emails back. It makes me sad. She has always been such a good friend. I could tell her ANYTHING. She never judged. She always made me feel better about bad situations and had positive things to say to help me out. I really have no idea why she has not been keeping in touch with me as she has and I have for 25 years. We are all busy...I know you people know how busy I am because I complain about it all the time. I am sure she is too. But in this day and age there is just no reason not to keep up with friends that you want to keep in touch with. Cell phone calls on the way to or from destinations, text, instant messenger, blogs, phone, email...the list goes on. I wish I had an answer. I do keep in touch with her mother, who has always been very kind to us. She doesn't have answers for me either. But nonetheless, I enjoy her mother. Sadly, she makes more of an effort to keep in contact than ET does. Again, I don't know the deal. Sometimes friends come and go. Even old friends. ET, if you read this. Give me a call girl. I miss you.

I probably wasn't the best friend while she was living here. There are things I wish I had done differently. I think she felt judged even though she has never judged me. She did things different than I would do things, and being so close, as me and my sisters are, I tend to be upfront and ask questions about it, which may come across wrong. I have learned from that. It doesn't mean the way people do things that are different than me are wrong...just different. She was there when my Peyton was born, and stayed with me in the hospital when Steve went home to sleep one night in the hospital. We have been through it all together. A very long history. She knows everything about me...good and bad. Love her.

Anyway...gonna do a little work. Maybe that will make me tired and want to go to bed. ha
Night night.

Makin' up for lost time

Man, I missed blogging the past couple of days. I know I am constantly complaining about how busy things are. But let me tell you. It has past the point of busy to the point of ridiculous. Just since like Wednesday, I have done 2 leases and executed a contract on my Watauga listing. Which I am very excited about. But the amount of paperwork that is behind all of that is crazy. Some of it though, is just starting with this team and converting my files to theirs and learning how they like to have it all done. It is nice though, because once it's all converted and I learn it all they do a lot of the leg work that goes along with it.

Let's see....yesterday we were to go to my mom's church carnival. We were taking Sydney and Peyton. Literally walking out the door, after a ridiculously busy morning with work, one of my team members called and asked if i could go meet a lady at the office that walked in wanting to look at waterfront property. K. When somebody walks in for waterfront property you run. Waterfront is anywhere from 400k to over a million dollar homes. So Steve being the understanding husband he is, understood that I had to go take care of that. He took the girls to the carnival by himself. So sweet of him. He came home a little rattled though. ha Me on the other hand, totally wasted my time!!!! This nutty lady not only was already working with a realtor already, she wanted waterfront for 200K. Is that possible. Sure there are some dumpy places out there you could do that. But she wanted a 400k home for 200k. And people....if you are already working with another realor, don't go walking into other real estate offices. Nobody wants to waste their time with somebody that is going to let you find them a property and then go to the realtor they have been working with to buy it. Little did this lady know, she not only wasted my time, but she made me miss precious time doing something fun with my family. Was not happy person. Common sense folks.

The picture above of the gloriousPeyton the poser. She Loves getting her picture taken. And loves to pose for them. The video clip. She will stand in front of us all evening and do her cheerleading moves that she learned from a video called Bella Dancerella Cheerleader. Then Steve taught her to courtsey. Kind of funny watching a big, strong guy show his 3 year old daughter courtsey. So a little of Peyton in action for you folks.

Today is Sunday. Steve asked what we wanted to do today...and my first thought was NAP!!! And I hadn't even been up very long. ha I'm tired!!!! I'm thinking that none of us are going to even get out of our p.j.'s today. Currently, Peyton is brushing my hair while I sit with my p.j.'s on, under my favorite blanket while I sit on the couch with the laptop entering this blog. This is about as much as I want to do today. ha

So last night. Didn't do much. Went over to RC and Kevin's. It was not relaxing! Andi and Brian dropped of Ashleigh and Addyson for them to babysit while they went to a friends house for a little party. Addy has really not been away from her mommy and daddy. She WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT!!! She cried, I would say 80% of the time. Screaming. Then add Peyton and Ashliegh, Sydney and a friend of hers that was spending the night....OMG! It was loud in there. Addy was not only missing her parents, but thinking...."God it's loud in here". haha We just ordered pizza and played some poker.

Some of Peyton's favorite things (for the time being anyway)
Loves Dora and Wizard of Oz. Oh and the Doodlebops.

Loves to eat french fries, chicken nuggets, strawberrys, cut up apples...but only when her nana does it at her house.

Loves to dance and the newest thing is knock knock jokes. She doesnt really know any, she just makes them up. Very cute.

She does not like to clean her room, eat much meat, or time outs (but who does really)

She still sucks on her blanket when sleeping. Tried to talk to her about giving her blankets to the blanket fairy so he could give it to babys who didn't have blankets. She said, "no, their mine. They can go to the store and buy their own." Kind of made me laugh. But I guess she just doesn't quite understand all that yet. Still so very innocent and SPOILED! ha

Anyway....With the pictures and this long blog that should make up for not blogging the past couple of days. I may even do another entry tonight!!!! So come back! OHHHH...wait...

Wicked Wednesday

Goodness gracious. Another hectic day. Phone started ringing at 8am and didn't stop all day. Good news is I should have an offer on my Katie Ln. listing in the morning!! Hope it's a reasonable offer. We shall see.

Another day of paper shuffeling, showings and problem solving.
We are adding another member to our team. Should work out well. Going to make it where I am pretty much just doing listings. Which is fine as long as they keep coming in. Will make life a little easier in the fact that the running around will lighten up a bit. it's hard to keep showing houses on a moments notice when I have Peyton. Finding someone to watch her on a moments notice, or have to miss out on dinner with the family when I have an evening showing. So, it just gets hard to do. Listings will mean set appointments with usually much more notice.

Really, honestly something has to give. This time of year is busy not only with work, but in personal life too. It's constant birthdays, concerts, games, Family asking to do this, that and the other. The sick dogs, kids with falling dressers and TV's....just out of hand. I need a vacation!!! ;)

LISTING OF THE WEEK!! 121 Sunnyvale Terr, Hurst . $124,999. Totally remodeled inside and out. New roof, paint inside and out, countertops, cabinets, tile backsplash, tile, carpet, laminent wood floors. Big ol' shed in the back with electricity, Covered patio. Cute house. Ready for a new owner!!!! Know anybody that wants it????

Raining like nutts tonight. Storms all around. No hail so far tonight. Murray is up my butt since he is a big wussy. Chloe is too deaf to even notice the storms. I am waiting for it to die down a little so I can let the pups out so they don't decide to pee and poop in my house.

Peyton's eye looks pretty good today. No swelling up or anything. Just red spots. Man we are lucky that TV didn't hit her in the head.

My and Andi's Birthday is May 1. We decided to see if our husbands plan a family dinner for us. Quite amazing between the 2 of the boys they can't get anything organized. Steve will remember to, but he will say something like "so what do you want to do for your birthday?" on April 30. ha
But, that's ok. I just assume skip it this year. Just to figure out a night to have a b-day dinner has been challenging. Ash has a teeball game on our b-day, the Harris's have the band banquet Friday, there was something on Sat. I can't remember now...etc. That's when we decided to let the husbands figure it out.

Life is good and all is well. May be busy, but things could be worse. So I'm grateful that I am healthy enough to handle it all. Isn't that the attitude we are to take. Be thankful we wake each morning when we really don't want to get out to bed kind of thing.

Ok. Make comments people. I like hearing from you. Thank you Bridget for the comment. Very nice. Are you having trouble. You have to have an account I think. But I will change that to anyone can comment. I jus have hear you get all kinds of riff-raff when you open it to anybody! I'll try it, and then if it doesn't work, just sign in for an account. It's just google and it's free and they don't bug ya.

Have a good Thurs.

Lucky Tuesday

Well...a lucky Tuesday for the York Family. Peyton had a near miss. She decided to stand on the bottom shelf of the dresser in her playroom. She pulled the whole dressser and TV over. With some miracle from above, the TV managed to miss her. It landed about 2 inches from her head behind her on the bed. She was pinned between the dresser and the bed. Good God! We are so lucky that TV didn't hit her. We would be talking about something totally different right now. But as you see below, she did a number on her little head. I think that was the top drawer of the dresser that hit her head. She was more stunned than anything. Goodness gracious! Very scary. That's about all I have to say about that. I will be having the image of her pinned in my head running through my head over and over.

So today was a busy one. Chloe has hook worms and bacterial infection in her GI tract. That would explain the constant crap! Took x-rays for her little seizures, and they didn't find anything. Had to pay another $50 on top of the $268. for Murray to have pills to get rid of the hook worms, because it's a good chance that she gave it to him. Oy Vey!!! These pups are breakin' the bank.

Meeting and tour this morning at work. Showings, paperwork, more paperwork. FINALLY got my crazy lease lady taken care of and movin' her on down the road. I haven't done the new feature in a couple of days! Listing of the Day!!! So here ya go

Listing of the Day........ 6213 Roseman Ct. Offered at $139,999. 4 bedroom, 2 bath 2 car garage. 2004 sq. ft. in Bowman Estates. You could be my neighbor. That's worth the $140k right there. Nice, clean well taken care of house on corner lot in a cul de sac. You'll LOVE it!!!

I just have nothing too profound to discuss today. Oh Yes.....One thing I much blog about! Peyton's WONDERFUL teacher at her Mother's day out program. Ms. Carol. OMG!!! Is is the greatest teacher EVER. She was Ashleigh's teacher when she was in the 2 year old class and Peyton was just a little baby. Now she has my 3 year old. She is really wonderful with all the kids, but I think she has a special place in her heart for Peyton and Ashleigh. Come to think of it, Ash has come a long way since then. Ms. Carol is the one that suggested Ash's speach problem was that she wasn't hearing well. And she was right. She's just wonderful, and Peyton just loves her. She told me today that Ms. Carol's toes were orange today. (her nails.) I didn't check, but she notices that stuff. (There ya go Ms. Carol....hehehehe) No, really! Love her to death.

Oh yes.....best part of the day! I GOT MY LAPTOP TODAY AND IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! I paid Dell for a brand new laptop, and got a very expensive coaster. The sucker didn't work. Had to return and get a new one, and yippie....it works!!! I like it too. Blogging on it right now as a matter of fact. YIPPIE!!!

Ok..tomorrow...Peyton goes to her Nana's house as I have work to be done. She loves it there. I think they are planting flowers again tomorrow. More tomorrow peeps! Nighty night.

Monday...Monday

Well, I don't know. Not much happenin'. I try to make Mondays my rest day since weekends are usually nutts, and for the most part it was. I did do a showing for yet ANOTHER lease! Uggh! Just not much money to be made on those folks. Nothing against it, and am happy to do it cause it could be a buyer in the future. It is just time consuming and a big headache most of the time. Most seasoned agents will not even do them, but for us peons, not much option. Gotta do what ya gotta do. A little money is better than no money, right. ha

So, hung out at Andi's most of the day. Cleaning ladys came today so we had to get out of dodge. Yes, ok....I admit....I have a cleaning lady. 2x's a month. Best money I spend a month, I know that. AND the lawn got mowed today too. It was like coming home to paradise. A clean house and a nice lookin' yard. LOVIN IT! Spoiled, I know. But for those of you who have time for that stuff, I'm jealous.

Anyway, hung out at Andi's, took some calls, made some calls, answered some AAdvanced AC & Heat calls, fed the baby. Went to dinner with the sisters and their familys. My favorite place...BOSSES PIZZA!!! YUMMY

Chloe, our poor little dog. She is 16 years old and just not the young spring chicken she once was. She has been pooping on the floor every night for the past week. Which Steve loves. He's the official, puke, pee, and poop cleaner-upper. She has to be tied to her bed at night now. But since I was gone all day, she didn't go out and pooped nasty runny BLOODY poop on the floor. Immediately called the vet. She is going in tomorrow. Gonna have to take her early and let her stay the afternoon so they can fit her in when they can since they didn't have any appointments. I thought that was nice of them. I hope she will be ok. I gave her a bath tonight because she looked like a street dog. Murray loves her so much, that his 10 inch tongue slobbers her back all day. Not sure why. But I guess he's in love. Her hair is falling out, she has like 6 teeth and the ones she has are infected because she has always had a terrible teeth and gums. But the vet wants like 300-500 bucks to clean them!!!!! That is CRAZY! Don't have it so whatcha gonna do. Plus she may not make it long enough to enjoy 300-500 bucks worth of teeth cleaning. (that was mean, but fact). She can't hear for crap and she keeps having little mini lookin' seizures. She freezes up and shakes a little bit and gets her bearings and moves on. Happens about every 10 minutes and is getting worse. I also told the vet to figure out what the heck that is. I hate to see this vet bill. We should have set aside a seperate old dog fund to pay for these aging animals! Kinda like you would a college fund. Wonder if we could add her to our health insurance. hehe

So....had a great video clip of Steve and Dora the doll in a compromising position. Steve didn't realize it, and I turned on the video and couldn't stop laughing. It was on his lap face down. The funniest thing I have seen in a VERY long time. But I have been threatened with my life that if I put that on my blog I was going to pay for it 10 fold. I am not sure I want that hanging over my head and having to watch my back, so unless he makes me mad I will restrain. Damn...people...it was freakin' funny.

Alrighty then. I am too lazy to download pictures. But when I do...man, there will be a bunch. Suspense is good for ya anyway. (I know you are just dying inside. ) ;)
Nighty night!

Weird Sunday

The moon must be full or something, cause today felt weird. Woke up at the butt-crack of dawn to pass out door hangers in Lake Country. Sydney spent the night, and got up to go with me and earn a little extra cash. Not the highlight of my day. Came home and napped. Was on floor duty the rest of the day. So I worked most of my Sunday. Peyton didn't get a nap, we ate at weird times, everybody is just hum-drum today, including me and now I"m beat! Really very tired. Poor me. ha. We were just all out of schedule today and that always throws me off. So whatever. That's that.

Otherwise. I'm too tired to say much today. I am surprisingly going to bed before 10pm. Heading that way, anyway.

Steve is still in his organizing mode. He's very good at it. Best to stay out of his way. Man on a mission is the best way to describe it.

Have a good week.
More tomorrow, I am sure. Over and out.

A Day Off!

Finally....A Saturday off. Much needed. Still not feeling 100%. Had a headache from hell all day. Did have to answer emails and a couple of phone calls, but nothing big. Steve did have to go to work today for a half a day, but he didn't seem to mind. Peyton and I started out going to Ashleigh's Tee-ball game. That was REALLY funny and cute. Peyton kept calling her from the sidelines trying to get her to talk to her. Then the coaches got on her about not paying attention. It was cute. Went to lunch with RC, Kev and Syd. Did my emails and phone calls, layed down for a while to try to get rid of this headache. Persistent little sucker. The poker gang came over to play poker. We haven't done that in a while. Nobody hardly ever comes over to our house anymore. We were trying to remember the last time they came over. Couldn't. Been that long. Sad.
Decided Andi is still a ding bat. We were talking about a restuarant in Fort Worth called "the fuzzy taco". Kevin said that he refuses to eat there, for what we all thought were obvious reasons, but for Andi, it wasn't so obvious. She said, "Why, cause their moldy tacos?" We all laughed about that for a good 10 mins. Andi was slobbering on herself and all! Too funny.

Otherwise, a pretty low key day. I have floor duty tomorrow, and have to get up at 6 to be at the office at 7 to walk Lake Country Estates to put out doorhangers for our team at work. Friday!

So..Friday. A nice day, I must say. Steve stayed home with me today. Although, he did work from home a lot. Nice of him. Even though I have been feeling like I have been trying to get sick, I had things to get done. First order of business. Our team picture for work. Since I'm new to the team, we had to do a new picture. Turned out well. We use a guy that can work wonders. He airbrushes the pictures. He did my individual pic. a few weeks ago. Man, whitened my teeth, took out wrinkles, took the red out of my bloodshot eyes, removed moles and took off some of the double chin. LOVIN IT! ha Anyway...after that Steve, Peyton and I met my mother for lunch at Mercardo Jaurez. Good mexican food. She is doing well, my Mother. She goes to clinic every Friday. Oh, she had a kidney transplant for those of you out of the loop. She had a tough time for about 6 weeks after. In and out of the hospital. Tough time on all. But doing well. Yeah for Mom.

After lunch, put out my for sale signs for my new listings!!! WOO-HOO! Crosswind Dr. in Lake Country Estates, listed at $224,999 and Roseman in Bowman Estates, my neighborhood. listed for $139,999 just in case anybody's interested. ;) Oh, also have my mother's rent house in Hurst listed for $124,999 and one in Watauga listed at $120k. Know anybody needing a house tell em bout these please. COME ON PEOPLE! BUY A HOUSE ALREADY!

Then, Peyton took a nap while I worked in our home office and Steve on his laptop in the living room. I keep telling Steve he's a bragger. He may have an old, refurbished Bell Helicopter laptop, but I have a $1k coaster new in the box. Dell sent me a brand new computer that doesn't work. Isn't that lovely. Yes, then they sent out somebody to fix it with REFURBISHED parts!!!!!!! Are these people DRUNK! Don't get me started. Anyway, after much fighting and calling in managers and all of the fun stuff, I will have a new laptop, hopefully, by the end of next week. URRRGGGG!!!

Went to dinner with Steve's folks. We try to do that once a week or so. They just adore Peyton and I love that they adore her. They are good to us. We love them.

Otherwise, bedtime for Peyton and Steve as he has to work tomorrow...on a Sat. which is unusual. Me on the other hand, have worked every weekend for the past month! I am going to try not to work tomorrow if I can help it. Gonna go see Ashleigh (andi's daughter) play t-ball. I am looking forward to that. I hate that I haven't been to one yet. Then I am working on Sunday.

It's late people. I must start heading to bed. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment. (Well, the picture went up top...I'm going to have to have Andi show me how to work this thing.)

Welcome Peeps!

Well, well, well. Guess who joins the blogging world. Yes, I am a copy-cat and had to follow in my sister's footsteps. I thought it was kinda cool. Great way to keep up with friends and family, and let everybody in on our daily lives, although, yes, sometimes a bit hum-drum. Just hope I can keep it up to date like she does. Geez.. Andi doesn't miss a day...no matter HOW boring her day was. ;)

A little about us. There's me. Allyson..wife and mom. Steve..husband and dad. And Peyton...princess and daughter. Peyton is 3 and is our world as are all of your kids to you. She's a doll. She makes us laugh, play and be young when we just really want to lay around and watch TV. She has certainly made us cry...me at least. No, I know Steve. He will kill me for admitting that. ha Sorry dear. Mostly all happy tears. I think I cried every day for the first year of her life. Good kind of crying though. I was just SOOO thrilled to have her. I waited soooo long for her. Totally regret waiting until 32 to have a child. I didn't know what I was missing though.

We have been trying to have another baby for over 2 years now. Did the fertility drug, didn't work. Next option costs $1k...needless to say we are trying on our own again for a while. Not trying anything that has much of a chance of multiples. I don't want to end up with 10...just 2!!

Steve works at Bell Helicopter as a Supervisor. Doing what...I don't know. Something called Change Control. He tries to explain it, but I don't get it. I am a Realtor. Know anybody who wants to buy a house! ha I work at Century 21 Lake Country Realty in Fort Worth. I just joined a team there. We are the "Crimmins Team". Julie Crimmins is the leader of the pack. She is awesome. I think I will enjoy the team and working with them all. There's 4 of us.

Some of you we talk to daily. Some not so much. I hope with this tool, we all learn new ways to keep in touch. This is my effort. So away we go.....
