The Christmas Season has started!

Look what I did!

Gingerbread house fun!

Intently placing the candy

"Can we eat it now Mommy"

Turkey Day..notice the Apron! hehe

Well, we hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We had a nice day. It was tiring, but nice. We had everybody on my side of the family here at my house. Not too bad. All I had to do was straighten up, buy ice, cook the turkey and dressing. Steve started carving the turkey because my dad was like 30 mins. late. this was after I called him at 5 till noon to ask how long until he was going to be here. He said he was right around the corner. Yeah, well..he must have just been leaving because he didn't get here for another 25 minutes...that's how long it takes to get to our house from his house. urrgg. Nonetheless, Steve started carving the turkey so we could all eat already. Once dad got here he chipped in to help. We had a nice meal and then all sat around saying how stuffed we were. Kind of stinked without the Linders here. I didn't get to spend the first Thanksgiving with Addy. That makes me sad. Oh well.....

After everybody left we had to go to Steve's Mom's house. Jim, steve's step dads side of the family was going to all be there for dinner. So we joined in for another meal. Needless to say...we were soooo full! ha But it was all good eating. ha We were kind of glad when the day was over.

This morning Steve, Kevin and RC kicked off the Christmas season by getting up at 6am to go shopping! Crazy people! I got up at a wonderful 9:00 and got me and Peyton ready and met them all at one of the stores. Then we proceeded to shop until like 5pm! uggh. But we got a lot done. I, personally, didn't see any huge spectacular deals this year. It was good though. Then we got home, chilled for a while and I fell asleep in my chair. Ate some leftovers and were going to put up our tree, but time got away from us...so we did the gingerbread house instead. Peyton was driving us crazy to make it, so she got her way. ha

Here is a picture of the shirt I got her and Ashleigh. Too cute!

It is so fitting. ha
So, that's about it. The rest of the weekend doesn't entail too much. We will probably do our tree tomorrow. Tomorrow night we are going to some friends house. Then Sunday I am on Floor Duty in the afternoon. I will either be really busy, or have nothing at all. Not sure which yet.
So ya'll get to shopping...only like 26 days until Christmas.

Some Pics for ya

These are some pics that I had on my phone forever and finally downloaded. The ones of the Sydney and Peyton are the only pics I have from the State Fair of Texas, since RC hasn't sent me the ones she took from her camera. Geez..rc!

Peyton...Big smile.

Sydney looks a little bored on this ride.

Peyton loved the rides...but those darn straps on her shirt
wouldn't stay up. ha

Girls...your a little young to be driving

Peyton and Momma

So there's some pics for ya. Haven't really blogged much lately. Sorry 'bout that. Not that I've really been all that busy lately. Last week there wasn't a whole lot going on. Had a closing on Friday...that was the highlight of my week. ha This weekend...Friday night, Andi and the girls and I went to the mall to find Christmas dresses. After seeing how much they were, I decided not to buy one. Peyton has about 3 of them hanging in her closet that Ash handed down...so I decided to just let her wear one of those. That whole thing was a butt-whoopin' with the girls. Not really minding us, and running like wild childs. Saturday...hummm...what did we do Saturday. Oh yes, Steve had to work, and I had a couple of showings, so I had to drop Peyton at Andi's house for a few hours. Then Steve met me for lunch since I was on his side of town. I picked up Peyton and Ash so Ash could spend the night. Peyton and Ash haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time together since Ash has been in school. Makes me kind of sad, but just a preview of what it will be like. It makes me sad because I want Peyton to feel like her cousins are like her sisters, and be very close since she is the only one without a sibling. ;( Saturday night we just took the girls out to a Hamburger joint. Poor Ashleigh is having such a time getting used to going to school all day. She was so tired...she fell asleep as soon as we got back in the car. So when we got home we put them to bed. It was only 8pm!!! LOL I don't think Peyton has been in bed at 8pm since like....EVER! hehe But they ended up talking and playing for like an hour and a half....so it was more like 9:30 before they finally fell asleep.
Sunday. The girls got us up and I got them bathed. We were going to the Gaylord Hotel to get some pictures for Christmas in their dresses. Dried their hair and curled it. They looked so pretty. Andi, Brian, Steve, Ash, Peyton, Addy and I headed out. Hopefully we got some good shots we can use on the Christmas cards. The Linders had to go because Andi was taking some more pictures for a friend of hers somewhere else. So my little family hung out and checked out the sights at the Gaylord. They have it all decked out for Christmas already. We made it to see Santa and Peyton sat on her lap. She told him that she wanted a sleeping beauty dress and books. That was it. hehe She has been cracking me up with the Santa thing. I threaten to call Santa if she is being bad, and she freaks out and says, "NO Mommy...don't do it" and starts crying. I layed off of it a bit, because I don't want it to freak her out and have a bad experience with it. I threatened that with Ashleigh and she just said, "I don't care". LOL....what a party pooper. ha
After the Gaylord we went to the Cheesecake Factory and used Steve's gift card he got for his birthday. yummy stuff. Then just hung out at home the rest of the day. Today...nada....I didn't have anything going on. Had to run to one of my team members house to drop some stuff off, but that's it. Went to Hobby Lobby and used a coupon I had and got a gift or 2. Then came home and hung out with Peyton. Tomorrow I have a full day with floor duty and a closing. Payday for me!! woo-hoo! ha
Julie, my team memeber, gave me some material to recover my dining room chairs. I was truely going to Hobby Lobby to get material for the chairs, but she had a bunch at her house that she didn't want. So I picked one that will work terrific. So that was nice of her. Now I just have to figure out how to do it. Aunt Sharon, will you come show me how. ha We shall see how that works out. But I would be embarrassed for anybody to sit on them. The cat has grossed them up nicely.
Got the turkey defrosting in the outside fridge. My mom called tonight in a panic reminding me that I needed to defrost the turkey. hehe No faith, I tell ya. I told her, "what, you didn't want to naw on some raw frozen turkey for Thanksgiving this year?" ha This is only the 2nd time I have ever cooked a big ol' turkey....the first one turned out good though, so now if only I can remember how I did it last time. The Linders are leaving tomorrow night for Brian's Dad's house....I don't know, Indiana or something like that. ha I forgot... It will be weired not having them in town. Steve is already set to do the Friday after Thanksgiving early morning shopping trip. What a glutten for punishment. I guess he and Kevin will go again this year.
Peyton has been obsessed lately about her as a baby. She was asking all kinds of questions tonight wanting to know what happened when she was born. I gotta tell ya...I am glad we got her birth on video. She LOVES to watch it. She thinks it's the coolest thing. Yes, there is blood and all that jazz....but it's part of life, so I don't mind that she sees that. So after we talked about how she had to go to the special nursery because she wasn't breathing good, and how she finally got to come and stay in Mommy's hospital room after she got better and then got to go home, she wanted to go watch the video again. ha She is too funny. Normal, I guess.
I realy don't have much else. Mom is doing good. No surgery as of now for the pocket of fluid. I am pretty sure she will have to eventually, but maybe they will not see the need until after the new year. Dad's his usual fiesty self. ha He is doing well.
Otherwise, folks...gotta hit the hay. Getting late and I must get up early. Yup...I have done it to myself again. ha
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

A week until Thanksgiving!

Only one more week...better get to the store and get your turkeys. I did. I got a 21 pounder! Its a big momma! Thanksgiving is at my house this year. Oh boy! Linders are leaving town. They suck! Whatever... Less mouths to feed.

I cut Peyton's hair last night. It's a little shorter than I wanted, but I am a rookie. ha Nah..it looks cute, I think. Her hair grows so fast, it won't even matter in a month. It just was getting too much to take, and I haven't had time to take her to Tina's. Sorry Tina...had to be done. )

Got a closing tomorrow! woo-hoo! Got one on Wednesday too! Woo-hoo! Bring on the bucks, baby! It has otherwise been a slow week around here. I really wasn't feeling too good yesterday, so Peyton and I hung around the house. We hadn't done that on a week day in forever! I didn't even get dressed. I took a nap and the whole bit! Peyton wouldn't lay down with me, so I put on a movie and she played in her gameroom. I did have to get up in the middle of my nap to wipe her bootie because she decided to go poo poo while I was sound asleep. All I could hear was, "Momma...come wipe my butt!" over and over. Unfortunately, my nap was only a little over an hour...but it was still a nap none the less. Peyton tried. She did finally come into my bed and tell me to get up. Nap time was over by then anyway. I do feel better today. If I feel myself getting sick, I sleep my ass off and I can usually fight it off. Knock on wood. ha

Got the cleaning lady coming tomorrow. woo-hoo! Only crappy thing is she is coming at like 8:15am!!! Not too happy about that. I don't tend to like to getting up early, in case you all haven't got a hang of that yet. ha Oh well...probably get dressed, grab some breakfast and take it to Andi's until my closing at 11am.

Pretty boring week, folks. I even had time to do an elf thing. I emailed it to some of you...but here it is for those who didn't see it. Just click on the link.

It's funny stuff...I know. That's how slow I have been this week. Honestly, I don't expect things to pick up until after the first of the year. We shall see.

Oh...I got steve a new cell phone for his Birthday. So we took his old phone and told Peyton that Santa gave it to us as our direct line to him. And when she starts to act up I tell her I am going to call Santa..and have a couple of times. When I go to pick it up now, she says, "don't do it Mommy!" hehe Santa actually called it last night. Steve made his phone ring and I told her Santa was calling on the Santa phone. But this time it was to tell her what a good girl she was for cleaning her playdo mess and getting ready for bed so quickly. She thought that was too cool. She keeps wanting to talk to him, and I have to tell her that this phone is onlly for Mommies and Daddys. It has worked thus far...we shall see. We have decided we can't abuse the Santa phone thing, or she won't take it seriously. So we are laying off a little bit. Bribery...works every time!!
Night folks!

Happy Birthday Steve!

Addy didn't like all the happy b-day singing..ahh

Best buds

Sweet babies

Such a pretty smile

Happy Birthday Punky!
Yes...my old man husband is 37 today! OMG! I have to raz him about it, because I am 6 months younger than he is. When we were 20 and 21 he just thought he was so cool that he was older and could drink and get into clubs. Well, now the joke is on him. hehe
He had a good birthday. We did our family celebration last night at Bucca di Beppo. It's a family style italian place. Awesome food! Love it. It was a great time. Then today I got up early and cooked biscuits and gravy and bacon. His favorite. Then just had a nice and relaxing day. I took a big fat nap! I hadn't taken a nap in a good couple of weeks. It was great! I crashed out! I bet a good 2 and a half hours. woo hoo! Then we got dressed and ready to go to "The Crimmins Team" client appreciation party. It was nice. We just invite all of our previous clients to come for dinner and mingle. None of my clients came. ;( I only had 3 or 4 clients that bought so far this year. Lease clients dont count, otherwise, I would have had a room full. hehe Julie, our team leader, got Steve a Birthday cake and called him out and we all sang happy birthday to him. He was red, and embarrassed, which was the point. It was a nice thing to do for him. I really enjoy my team, and I think we are all getting closer and more trusting of one another, I think. But anyway....It was a nice evening, but I was ready to get home and comfy again. ha
So I brought out Peyton's Cowboy jersey for her to wear today, and Steve said since it was his birthday he wants her to wear the Steeler's jersey today. Not fair! I refuse to put that thing on her, so I told him fine..only because it's his birthday...but he has to put the ugly thing on her. ha Peyton is so confused on who to like. Mommy tells her that Steelers are stinky and Cowboys are cool. So when she's with me she says "Steelers are stinky, aren't they Mommy". But then when Steve brainwashes her she says, "Mommy steelers are cool!" So the poor girl is just so confused and just trying to please her mommy and daddy.
Peyton likes to watch herself as a baby on all these videos I took of her as a baby. So I went in there and turned it on and watched some of it, and it shocks me of how much I have forgotten and how it just all seems like a blur, and what a damn shame that is. I hate that I dont remember every minute of her babyhood. I of course remember the highlights, but not every minute and every milestone and when it happened. It makes me so sad to watch that and know that I may not be able to do that again and experience and give Peyton that experience of a little brother and sister. She was talking yesterday about a little sister. Asking me if I had a baby in my tummy and I told her no. She asked why, and I told her because God hasn't given me one. And she said"mommy, I prayed to God for a baby sister, do you think he will give me one". And I just don't know how to answer that. Steve saw it on my face that it upsets me, and told her not to talk about it. But I told him, no....that I don't want her to think she can't talk about anything with me, and it was fine. I answer her questions as best I can, and she always, in true 3 year old fashion, quickly moves on to something else. "Mommy, are we leaving now to our party". hehe
Oh what to do. I really do think I am going to go for it and give it one more shot with the artifiicial incemination. I think if I don't I will always wonder and regret not giving it that one last shot. I am not sure when, but I think I have to do it. I just worry about my career and how I am going to handle being a full time mom of TWO kids and be a productive real estate agent.
I would need a Nanny that could come to my house when I need it. That would be ideal...but I aint got the money for all that. ha
What else...I really have rambled now. I guess I don't have much else to say. Thanksgiving is coming up and time to start planning. It is at my house this year, so I have to get on that and soon. I think work is slowing down a little bit, so maybe I will have some time now to contemplate and plan. ha
Hey...ya'll have a good week, and I will try to blog this week.

CMA awards

LOVIN' the CMA awards tonight. That's Country Music Awards for those who don't know. Awesome performances, and just really entertaining. I do still love my country music.

A mid week blog for ya. Not a whole lot to say really. Still no pictures taken. Sorry. Peyton is doing well. Steve stayed home on Monday to study for some work class he has been taken...I think it's called APIX. Not sure. Nonetheless, it's difficult and they have to take tests that he had planned to study for at work, but can't get time, so he took a vacation day. I asked Peyton on Monday would she rather stay home with Daddy or go to Nana's house. Nana won! LOL I don't really think Steve's feelings were hurt, because I do know it is hard to get any type of work done with Peyton around. Jabber, jabber, chit chat...scream, yell and make funny noises. ha
So off to Nana's she went. I had a luncheon that day, then came home and worked all afternoon and then off to a happy hour that evening. These builder happy hours that they host are wonderful. Free food, free drinks and they give away things like $200 visa gift cards, and and gas cards, starbucks cards and such. All for just getting a flyer of their new homes that are available. This one was at Chedder's. YUMMY! Although it was a good time, I didn't win squat!! Whatever! I never win anything.

Say a little prayer that these buyers I showed today some lakefront property in the $600k range BUY A HOUSE! That's some good money there folks! And Ally needs it! hehe

Mom is doing well. Had to have a bigger drain put in her kidney area cause she was leaking. She will be having surgery again soon to fix the fluid pocket problem. ugghhh. Dad's trial is going on this week. It really sounds to me that he has a strong case. It's very technical and very detailed. Yesterday he said it went very well, and today not as well as yesterday. I hope he can pull it out. He has worked very hard preparing for the trial, and deserves to be compensated for his work that he performed for this co.

Steve's Birthday is this Sunday. That would be number 37 for the old man! geezzz! We are having a client appreciation party for "The Crimmins Team" that I am on the night of his birthday. So Julie, our team leader, ordered Steve a cake and is going to bring it out so everybody can sing to him. I am going to be laughing my ass off. LOL I will HAVE to get a picture of his tomatoe red face. hehehehe

So, I guess that's about it for now. More later in the week. Nighty night!

Yo Yo Yo

Well hello friends. Sunday here in the big city. We had a nice weekend. Peyton had her last soccer game. Andi, Ash, Addy, Joy, and my dad all showed up to see her play. That was nice. It was at 8:30am, so it was quite chilly. Then I had to leave from there to get my hair done. Peyton and Steve went to breakfast together, which I think was sweet. Then the phone started ringing. I pretty much was on call all weekend. My fellow buyer agent was out of town yesterday and sick today. So I had plenty to keep me busy.

Peyton then spent the night at Nana and Papa's house so Steve and I could do our annual shopping at Toys R us to kick off our holiday shopping. Believe it or not we are almost done with Peyton. We are going to get a few more items and stocking stuffers and that's about it.

Peyton had her end of year soccer party today. I, unfortunately, got a call and had to go show. Steve took her and said they had a good time. Trophies and pictures should come in this week sometime.

Otherwise, just shaping up to be another busy week. I haven't taken any pictures lately. I know Andi took a ton of pictures at the soccer game the other day, so I am sure she will post some of them. Click on the link on the upper right hand side to link to her blog to see the pics.

Otherwise. Ya'll have a good week! More later this week.

A Thursday Blog

Yeah...almost made it through another week. And what a week it has been. sheewww! Peyton has been shuffeled to Nana's house, school and Andi's house all week. I have been very busy this week. I'm sorry, Peyton. Momma still feels guilty. But the great thing is, she loves going to all 3 places. There is excitement when I tell her where she's going for the day. So that gives me comfort.

I forgot to pay Peyton's tuition this week! I remembered when I walked into get her today that I didn't pay it, and I don't carry my checkbook! I remembered Tues. when I walked into get her that I didn't write a check too, and said to myself, "I'll just pay it Thurs." Well now we won't be back until Tues, and it will be like 10 days late. I do feel terrible. Crap! oh well.

So in the past 2 weeks I have executed 2 contracts, and have one offer in now. I just hope and pray that they all go through. I have an inspection on my 2nd contract tomorrow. Fingers crossed. I hate inspections. Makes me nervous. Then I showed some other folks today and found 2 they really like in their price range. Still waiting for him to get his preapproval letter, and assures me they are working on it. So hopefully we can have that soon, and make an offer. That would be nice.

Saturday is Peyton's last soccer game. It's at 8:30 am again! It is going to be SOOO cold! BURR! Then Sunday she has her end of year soccer party at the coach's house. Kind of glad it's over for now. So those of you who haven't come to see Peyton play (or stand there), which is most of my family, come on out and freeze with me.

Gonna start our Christmas shopping this weekend with our Annual trip to Toys R us. This is a night where Peyton goes and stays at somebody's house, this year is Nana and Papa, and Mommy and Daddy go to dinner and get lots of toys for our spoiled little girl. That's how we kick off our shopping season. It's fun. But I am tellin' ya....we are not doing near what we did last year. For one thing, she has so many presents, that literally she got tired of opening them and there were still like 7 of them left under the tree. I promptly picked them up and gave them to her for her birthday. hehe Secondly, we don't have the money this year. This year will be easier on the ol' budget because we picked nieces. I picked Ashleigh. So we each will spend up to $75 on the child we picked. I like this arrangement. I was probably spending at least $50-60 on each kid every year, and with the addition of Addy this year...oy vey....that's big bucks. So I think this will work out well.

Otherwise, just working hard trying to earn that Christmas money. I would like to have 4 closings by the end of the year. 2 this month, and 2 in Dec. That would be delightful, and could be a possibility. My goal for all of next year is to have 2 closings a month. We shall see. Hopefully people will be in more of a good mood and buy some houses already! ha

That's it for today, folks. Hope all is well with you all. Till next time....

Halloween and More

Ariel - The Little Mermaid

Super girl....Ashleigh, and Ariel....Peyton

"Andi had a little Lamb..." ha
My friend, Traci's daughter, Avery and our dog Murray

Guess who! ha Me freezing at a soccer game.
So we had a good week. Busy and tiring...but good. Halloween went off without a hitch. Peyton, as you can see, was The little Mermaid. She loves her costume. Now it's a dress up dress for her to play with, and has been in it every chance possible. We have candy coming out our ass, as I am sure most of those with kids do. The girls really did have a lot of fun trick or treating. Peyton certainly got the hang of it well. The "boys" did their usual scare the heck out of all the kids thing again. This year was a haunted house. It was VERY loud! Hit the link to go to Andi's blog, as I believe she is putting up a video of the haunted house.

I hardly have seen Steve this week. We have both been busy. He has worked late all week, prepared for Halloween, soccer practice..etc. I have worked a lot and such. We got to spend the evening together tonight, so that's nice. Except he's on the phone and I'm on the computer. Go figure.
My HUD offer and contract is executed and should close by the 15th of Dec. if all goes as planned. I am still working with another couple trying to find them something they like, and am writing an offer for another couple I met at an open house. I hate open houses, and they are usually a big, fat waste of time...but I did manage to get a buyer at the last one I did. Wow! Unusual. Plus I have a lady that is looking at commercial property for a restuarant. this will be new territory for me, as I haven't done commercial before. Then taking out another guy tomorrow for showings. Busy, busy! I am hoping for a great Nov. and Dec. and even January if all goes well. We shall see how it all pans out. Looking to be another busy week.

Otherwise, just livin' life. Sorry for taking so long to blog. Hope you enjoyed the pics above, and here are some more for you to enjoy. Until another day...goodnight.
