Peyton...Big smile.
Sydney looks a little bored on this ride.
Peyton loved the rides...but those darn straps on her shirt
wouldn't stay up. ha
Girls...your a little young to be driving
Peyton and Momma
So there's some pics for ya. Haven't really blogged much lately. Sorry 'bout that. Not that I've really been all that busy lately. Last week there wasn't a whole lot going on. Had a closing on Friday...that was the highlight of my week. ha This weekend...Friday night, Andi and the girls and I went to the mall to find Christmas dresses. After seeing how much they were, I decided not to buy one. Peyton has about 3 of them hanging in her closet that Ash handed down...so I decided to just let her wear one of those. That whole thing was a butt-whoopin' with the girls. Not really minding us, and running like wild childs. Saturday...hummm...what did we do Saturday. Oh yes, Steve had to work, and I had a couple of showings, so I had to drop Peyton at Andi's house for a few hours. Then Steve met me for lunch since I was on his side of town. I picked up Peyton and Ash so Ash could spend the night. Peyton and Ash haven't been able to spend a whole lot of time together since Ash has been in school. Makes me kind of sad, but just a preview of what it will be like. It makes me sad because I want Peyton to feel like her cousins are like her sisters, and be very close since she is the only one without a sibling. ;( Saturday night we just took the girls out to a Hamburger joint. Poor Ashleigh is having such a time getting used to going to school all day. She was so tired...she fell asleep as soon as we got back in the car. So when we got home we put them to bed. It was only 8pm!!! LOL I don't think Peyton has been in bed at 8pm since like....EVER! hehe But they ended up talking and playing for like an hour and a half....so it was more like 9:30 before they finally fell asleep.
Sunday. The girls got us up and I got them bathed. We were going to the Gaylord Hotel to get some pictures for Christmas in their dresses. Dried their hair and curled it. They looked so pretty. Andi, Brian, Steve, Ash, Peyton, Addy and I headed out. Hopefully we got some good shots we can use on the Christmas cards. The Linders had to go because Andi was taking some more pictures for a friend of hers somewhere else. So my little family hung out and checked out the sights at the Gaylord. They have it all decked out for Christmas already. We made it to see Santa and Peyton sat on her lap. She told him that she wanted a sleeping beauty dress and books. That was it. hehe She has been cracking me up with the Santa thing. I threaten to call Santa if she is being bad, and she freaks out and says, "NO Mommy...don't do it" and starts crying. I layed off of it a bit, because I don't want it to freak her out and have a bad experience with it. I threatened that with Ashleigh and she just said, "I don't care". LOL....what a party pooper. ha
After the Gaylord we went to the Cheesecake Factory and used Steve's gift card he got for his birthday. yummy stuff. Then just hung out at home the rest of the day. Today...nada....I didn't have anything going on. Had to run to one of my team members house to drop some stuff off, but that's it. Went to Hobby Lobby and used a coupon I had and got a gift or 2. Then came home and hung out with Peyton. Tomorrow I have a full day with floor duty and a closing. Payday for me!! woo-hoo! ha
Julie, my team memeber, gave me some material to recover my dining room chairs. I was truely going to Hobby Lobby to get material for the chairs, but she had a bunch at her house that she didn't want. So I picked one that will work terrific. So that was nice of her. Now I just have to figure out how to do it. Aunt Sharon, will you come show me how. ha We shall see how that works out. But I would be embarrassed for anybody to sit on them. The cat has grossed them up nicely.
Got the turkey defrosting in the outside fridge. My mom called tonight in a panic reminding me that I needed to defrost the turkey. hehe No faith, I tell ya. I told her, "what, you didn't want to naw on some raw frozen turkey for Thanksgiving this year?" ha This is only the 2nd time I have ever cooked a big ol' turkey....the first one turned out good though, so now if only I can remember how I did it last time. The Linders are leaving tomorrow night for Brian's Dad's house....I don't know, Indiana or something like that. ha I forgot... It will be weired not having them in town. Steve is already set to do the Friday after Thanksgiving early morning shopping trip. What a glutten for punishment. I guess he and Kevin will go again this year.
Peyton has been obsessed lately about her as a baby. She was asking all kinds of questions tonight wanting to know what happened when she was born. I gotta tell ya...I am glad we got her birth on video. She LOVES to watch it. She thinks it's the coolest thing. Yes, there is blood and all that jazz....but it's part of life, so I don't mind that she sees that. So after we talked about how she had to go to the special nursery because she wasn't breathing good, and how she finally got to come and stay in Mommy's hospital room after she got better and then got to go home, she wanted to go watch the video again. ha She is too funny. Normal, I guess.
I realy don't have much else. Mom is doing good. No surgery as of now for the pocket of fluid. I am pretty sure she will have to eventually, but maybe they will not see the need until after the new year. Dad's his usual fiesty self. ha He is doing well.
Otherwise, folks...gotta hit the hay. Getting late and I must get up early. Yup...I have done it to myself again. ha
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
